Through extensive use of primary source material this course investigates the American experience during the past century. Featured events include the Roaring Twenties, the Great Depression, World War II, the Civil and Women’s Rights Movements, the Vietnam and Persian Gulf Wars, and the wars in Iraq & Afghanistan, as well as trends in popular culture.
